Studiosi di geologia e mineralogia iniziarono la storia del turismo in Fassa e precedettero ospiti illustri nella locanda "al Sole" di Giovan Battista Rizzi a Pera, dove, da antichi documenti, risulta che nel 1864 si servivano ben 58 varietà di pietanze.
Situata in posizione strategica, divenne stazione di posta e deposito del sale,acquistando il soprannome Salin. Nel 1979 Augusto aprì il ristorante Salin con l'entusiasmo di  portare avanti un'antica tradizione. nel 1989 diede al suo nuovo albergo il nome "sole" in lingua ladina, in ricordo del lontano 1828.
Della nostra antica tradizione alberghiera manteniamo l'orgoglio del popolo ladino e la coscienza dei valori ambientali e culturali a noi trasmessi.La nostra casa è un modesto recupero dell'ambiente tradizionale di Fassa: il profumo del legno, la "stua" fedelmente ricostruita, la sala da pranzo calda ed elegante nel sapiente uso del legno e decori murali fanno rivivere storia, credenze e leggende antiche.



Among the first guest at Giovan Battista Rizzi's "Al Sole" inn, Pera di Fassa, were experts in geology and minerology. Old documents show that in 1864 he served 58 different main courses.
Thanks to its strategic position, the in became a post station, and also a salt deposit, from which it gained the nickname "Salin". When Augusto opened the Salin Restaurant in 1979, he was delighted to keep the traditon alive, in 1989 he gave the name "Sun" to his new hotel, which in the Ladin language is "Soreie", in memory of 1828
As a hotel we value our heritage, conserving not only the pride of the Ladin people and their culture, but also a respect for the environment which has been handed down to us
The hotel's interior is a modest attempt to recreate the atmosphere of a traditional Fassa home. We boast a faithful reconstruction of a "stua" ( a wood-panelled sitting room), and a warm yet elegant dining room where the use of wood and wall decoration combine to re-evoke ancient legends, beliefs and history.

Durch die vorteilhaft gelegen Position wurde es eine Postation und ein Salzlager und bekam den Übernamen Salin. Im Jahre 1979 eròffnete Augusto das Restaurant Salin mit der Begeisterung und Euphorie eine alte Tradition weiter zu geben. 1989 gab er seinem neunen Hotel den Namen "Sonne" in ladinischer Sprache, in Gedenken an das ferne jahr 1828

In unserem Hause erleben Sie einen Hauch dieser ladinischen Tradition: der Geruch des Holzes, die "Stua" (Stube) originalgetreu nachgebaut und der gemütliche und elegante Speisesaal, eingebettet in Holz und ladinischen Dekormalereien, Zeugen der Geschichte und der antiken Bräuche und Legenden.
